Fractal is building a clearing layer to be the connecting tissue allowing crypto assets to talk to one another. Our first product is an on-chain prime brokerage targeted at crypto-native institutions to enable an order of magnitude better capital efficiency. We just closed a $5.1m seed round from leading crypto and fintech investors.
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Quantitative Developer to join our blockchain startup team. The ideal candidate will have experience designing risk systems and a deep understanding of cross collateralization across financial instruments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement the risk management systems powering our risk engine. This systems monitors user accounts and executes liquidations
- Analyze and model the risk of various financial instruments and portfolios
- Implement and maintain Fractal’s liquidation framework
- Collaborate with smart contract engineers to ensure seamless integration of the risk engine with the rest of the platform
- Stay current with the latest developments in risk management and blockchain technology and provide recommendations for new technologies and methodologies
- Participate in Agile development process and daily stand-up meetings
- Help in maintaining the performance and scalability of the risk engine and liquidation framework
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in quantitative development
- Strong experience in Python and comfortable writing asynchronous code
- Experience designing risk management systems
- Strong understanding of cross collateralization across financial instruments
- Experience with numpy, pandas and sci-kit-learn
- Experience with interfacing with blockchain data is a plus
- Experience with Git and Agile development methodologies
- Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
